Why Accounting at TWU?

Sitting for the CPA Exam

Students who complete both the BBA in Accounting and MS Accountancy degrees at TWU should be fully prepared to sit for the CPA Exam. The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy regulates class requirements and, from time to time, changes the requirements to sit for the CPA Exam. TWU makes every effort to keep class requirements in alignment with the Board's requirements and makes updates in class requirements as needed.

Students who do not have both the BBA in Accounting and MSA degrees at TWU may schedule a meeting with an accounting faculty member to develop an individual plan to sit for the CPA Exam. This is recommended for all students at least one year before.
