Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE)
AALHE is a professional association for assessment practitioners at colleges, universities, and higher education support organizations. It provides resources and a forum to support assessment practitioners’ professional development and the open discussion of issues, strategies, policies, and processes associated with higher education’s use of assessment as a tool to improve student learning and institutional effectiveness in fostering student success.

Information on the VALUE Rubrics can also be accessed through this website.

LEAP Texas
LEAP TEXAS is a newly formed organization. LEAP TEXAS is comprised of more than 60 Texas higher education institutions. “The mission of LEAP Texas is to provide a structure through which Texas public and private institutions of higher education can communicate, organize, and develop plans and policy recommendations that address their common interests of student success and the improvement of higher education in Texas.”One of its key focal points is: “Leveraging the newly redesigned Texas Core Curriculum for Higher Education for the overall improvement of undergraduate education.”

ASSESS – Assessment in Higher Education – UKY Listserv
The ASSESS listserv addresses all topics related to assessment in higher education. It is a great resource for academic and co-curricular assessment.  You will first have to create a login account prior to subscribing.

ACCSHE – Accreditation in Southern Higher Education Listserv
The ACCSHE listserv also addresses topics related to assessment in higher education, with a focus on “Southern” higher education. Numerous aspects and questions related to SACS-COC accreditation are also common topics of discussion.
