Student Health Insurance

Health insurance is not required to receive services at Student Health Services, however we encourage every TWU student to have health insurance. Each year some students suffer from a major illness or injury, on or off the TWU campuses, which requires medical attention or hospitalization beyond the services that the Student Health Service can provide. Although many families have some form of health insurance, these plans often do not cover the college student out of their insurance plan network. It is important to evaluate your insurance policy to determine whether you have benefits while attending TWU. Costly medical bills can impose financial hardship.
