Why CollegeNet 25Live and X25?
TWU’s transition to 25Live and X25 is driven by the need for a more efficient, user-friendly, and data-driven approach to space scheduling. The 25Live system offers a web-based interface that allows unlimited users, including faculty, staff, and students, to search, reserve, and manage spaces and resources across campus. Its intuitive design simplifies event planning and ensures that all scheduling activities are centralized and transparent. Click here to access a video on CollegeNet 25Live.
X25, as part of the Series25 suite, offers powerful analytics and modeling tools. It enables TWU to assess space utilization, model “what-if” scenarios (such as building closures or schedule changes), and generate reports that support strategic decision-making. This capability helps the university maximize the use of existing facilities and avoid unnecessary construction, while also strengthening the case for renovations or new projects when justified by data.
Key Benefits for TWU
- Streamlined Scheduling: 25Live allows for quick and efficient reservation of rooms, resources, and event spaces, reducing bottlenecks and manual processes.
- Optimized Space Utilization: X25’s analytics provide insight into how campus spaces are used, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for better allocation.
- Scenario Modeling: Administrators can anticipate the impact of changes (like construction or policy updates) before they happen, making proactive adjustments to schedules and space assignments.
- Improved User Experience: The system is designed for ease of use, with features that support both everyday users and advanced schedulers.
- Integration with Campus Systems: 25Live integrates with student information systems and other campus tools, ensuring seamless data flow and up-to-date scheduling information.
Timeline and Implementation
The launch of CollegeNet 25Live and X25 is scheduled for Fall 2025, coinciding with the start of the academic year on August 25, 2025. This timing ensures that the new scheduling system will be operational for the entire academic cycle, delivering immediate benefits to students, faculty, and staff.
Looking Ahead
By implementing CollegeNet 25Live and X25, TWU is leading the way in academic space management. This modernization effort aims to reduce scheduling time, optimize space use, and improve the campus experience for everyone. As the university implements these new tools, stakeholders can look forward to a more agile, data-driven, and effective method for managing TWU’s valuable academic spaces.
