Information about May 2020 Virtual Commencement Option
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!
TWU is offering an online ceremony in May to celebrate the accomplishments of our Spring and Summer 2020 Graduates. We want you to share this moment remotely with your family, friends and community since we will not be able to do it face-to-face due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Although at this time we are not able to celebrate your ceremony in person, we would like to give you the opportunity to celebrate in May all that you have accomplished during your time here.
TWU hopes to conduct a traditional ceremony in August, and you are welcome to participate in both the virtual May ceremony and the in-person, traditional August ceremony.
If you have applied to graduate in May, or have applied to participate in the May ceremony, you should have received an email through a third-party company called Marching Order, inviting you to RSVP to participate in this virtual commencement. Please check your TWU.EDU email account now to get your personalized log-in information to RSVP. If you cannot find the email, please send a note to registrar@twu.edu.
Each graduate will be recognized with a personalized slide with your photo and personal message, which can be downloaded and shared on social media.
Key dates:
- April 29: Deadline to record the pronunciation of your name
- May 9: Deadline to RSVP & upload a personalized message and photo
- May 22: Virtual Ceremony available for viewing online
