Lactation Rooms

TWU Lactation Rooms offer a comfortable, private area for the milk expression or breastfeeding. All rooms are secure and equipped with locks, refrigerators, seating and electrical outlets. For more information on TWU lactation rooms: select a campus and learn how to access each space.

Room Details

These lactation rooms are a quiet and peaceful space designed to allow mothers to breastfeed their child or express milk as needed. Basic amenities available each room include: chairs, sinks, and electrical outlets, and some have small refrigerators to store milk.

The Houston Lactation Room is located on the 10th floor, Room 10118.

Room Details

This lactation room in located in the Research Area of the TWU Houston campus. It is a quiet and peaceful space to allow mothers to breastfeed their child or express milk as needed. Basic amenities in the lactation room include a refrigerator, sink, shower, toilet and outlets. A food pantry as well as gently used children’s clothing is available in the Student Life Suite on the 2nd floor, Room 2300. Plenty of materials on breastfeeding and going back to work, pregnancy, and WIC resources can additionally be found in the Student Life Suite.
