International Scholar Medallions

The department of International Affairs recognizes the unique and challenging experience of studying in another country.

To signify this distinct accomplishment, graduating international students and students who have studied abroad are honored with an “International Scholar” medallion. Medallions may be worn with graduation regalia.

How can I get one?

Approximately two months before graduation, International Affairs contacts graduating international students and education abroad alumni with details about how and when to pick up their medallion from the International Affairs office. For students who will not be on campus before graduation, arrangements will be made to pick-up the medallion the same day as their graduation ceremony.
