Monday, November 13th

    Explore the transformation of one of South America’s most vibrant and colorful cities — Medellín, Colombia!
  • 1:30 p.m. – 3 p.m. | UNT International Week Parade: UNT Campus
  • 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. | EA Scholar Programs Workshop: Parliament Village, Multipurpose Room
    Scholar Program students, learn about your education abroad opportunities and how to use your scholarships to go abroad. (Closed audience)

Tuesday, November 14th

    Join us for an info session led by Career Connections to learn how participating in an education abroad program can help your future career

  • 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. | Boldly Go Abroad Social Hour: ACT, Room 225
    Join us for crafts and conversation with International Affairs

Wednesday, November 15th

  • 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. | Ghana: Global Mamas Fair Trade
    In this live session, connect with leaders of Global Mamas, a unique, woman-run Fair Trade Organization! Team members from Ghana and the United States will share the history and practices of their organization, what “Fair Trade” means, and how you can integrate fair trade choices into your life.
  • 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. | Corn Around the World, a Multicultural Dining Experience: TWU Dining Hall
    We wanted to bring different types of meals made with corn from around the world. This would be a “grab and go” experience for students who visit the Dining Hall.
  • 3:00 pm - 4:00pm: TEAN Programs in Asia
    Join us to learn about study-abroad opportunities in Japan, Southeast Asia, and South Korea
  • 4 p.m. – 5 p.m. | Fulbright Info Session
    Fulbright awards funding to live abroad while you teach English, pursue graduate study, or conduct research.

Thursday, November 16th

  • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. | Education Abroad Passport Workshop
    API, one of our provider partners, will host a passport workshop for students interested in or planning to go abroad to explain the application process of getting it.
  • 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. | International Lunch & TED Talk: Baptist Student Ministry
    Join us for our monthly International Lunch and watch a TED Talk
  • 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. | Study Abroad in your Taylor Swift Era (ISA/TEAN): Student Union at Hubbard Hall, Room 1200
    Join one of our provider partners, ISA and TEAN, to make friends, friendship bracelets and learn about different programs Worldstrides offers to match your favorite Taylor Swift Era.
  • 3 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. | CPT Talk

Friday, November 17th

  • 8 a.m. – 9 a.m. | Japanese Tea Ceremony
    Join us for a unique online live workshop led by professor Randy Channell Soei, a Canadian tea master and expert in the Urasenke tradition.
  • 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. | Education Abroad 101: General Info Session
    Join us for a general overview of education abroad opportunities. This info session will cover locations, types, and cost of education abroad programs. All majors and academic levels are welcome. Q&A time will also be available.
  • 11 a.m. – 11:40 a.m. | Harlaxton’s First Scholars Presentation
    Learn about Harlaxton’s brand new First Scholars program starting Fall 2024. This program provides financial, academic, personal, travel, and career assistance that will help you make the most of your extraordinary Harlaxton experience. Read more here.
