Women’s business training program launches in Dallas

Nov. 20, 2024 ― DENTON ― Texas Woman’s University’s  Center for Women Entrepreneurs (CWE) and The Slate have announced the launch of an intensive training program tailored specifically for women-owned startups in the Dallas area. The innovative program will provide early-stage entrepreneurs the resources, education and mentorship needed to fast-track their startups into scalable, successful businesses.

Six Dallas-area women-owned businesses will be selected to join the AccelerateHER Dallas cohort, gaining access to a transformative experience that includes:

  • 24/7 Access to Workspace: Participants will receive private, dedicated workspace at The Slate in Dallas.
  • Personalized Guidance: Direct access to a business advisor and experienced mentors.
  • Expert-Led Training: Intensive entrepreneurial training delivered by industry professionals.
  • Media Kit: Video and photography assistance, including an updated media kit to elevate their brand presence.

Key Dates:

  • Applications Open: Nov. 18, 2024
  • Applications Close: Dec. 12, 2024
  • Program Start Date: Jan. 14, 2025
  • Class Schedule: Weekly in-person sessions every Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7:50 p.m.
