Staff LEAD Program

Staff Leadership Excellence and Development Program

450-416

The Staff Leadership Excellence and Development Program (Staff LEAD) is an annual cohort-based, experiential learning experience designed to equip high-performing and high-potential staff with the skills, experience, and relational competence needed to lead effectively in a dynamic university environment. Through applied projects, interactive training, and a focus on emotional intelligence, participants will build both technical expertise and the capacity to collaborate across teams and departments, preparing them for greater responsibility and impact.

Staff LEAD fosters tangible outcomes that benefit participants and the institution alike, including greater staff retention, internal mobility, departmental succession planning, and the development of future TWU leaders with skills-first experience. Participants also cultivate cross-campus relationships and practical problem-solving abilities to address institutional challenges head-on.
