OT PhD student wins second association award

Texas Woman’s PhD student Sue Ram, OTD, OTR, received the 2023 American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) Gary Kielhofner Emerging Leader Award for extraordinary service early in her career.

Nursing doctoral student named Albert Schweitzer Fellow

Kelsie Barta, a nursing PhD candidate at TWU Houston, will be a fellow with the Albert Schweitzer Fellowship Houston Galveston (ASFHG) to spearhead a project focused on increasing access to lactation support for pregnant and postpartum women and families in the Houston area.

PT student awarded grant to study hip ailments

Libby Bergman, PT, DPT who attends the TWU Institute of Health Sciences - Houston Center, was awarded a $1,000 grant from the TWU Experiential Student Scholar Program to research methods of diagnosing hip ailments to better address pain treatment.
