Academic Support Office

The Academic Support Office is your in-housing resource for assistance with your academic success. We want you to be as successful as possible during your time at Texas Woman’s University, so we are here to assist with any academic challenges you may face. Unlock your full potential with the Academic Support Office, where you’ll foster Engaged Learning, strengthen your Academic Determination, maintain a Positive Perspective, build Social Connections, and embrace Serving Citizenship—all key ingredients for a thriving college experience.

Our Academic Support Assistants (ASAs) can assist you with areas of academic transition, time management, study skills, resource navigation and much more. You can connect with an ASA through one-on-one academic sessions during office hours, visit at one of our tabling events, or come to one of our academic programs! 

Our Academic Support Tutors (ASTs) hold study hours, group study sessions, individualized tutoring and other academic programming for residents in need of assistance with their courses. To connect with an AST, stop by the Academic Support Office. Our ASTs offer assistance in: Gen Chem 1, Anatomy & Physiology I and II, Elementary Analysis and Spanish 1.

Hours

Academic Support Assistants are available in Parliament Village Computer Lab in Mary's Hall 121 and the 1st floor of Guinn Hall.

Monday through Thursday: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Friday through Sunday: Closed
