Departmental Scholarships

Each department has scholarship funds available to students in their major. Apply for these scholarships by submitting the General Scholarship Application in the Pioneer Scholarship System.

1. Apply to TWU through the Apply Texas application
   1. Wait about 3 days for your application to be downloaded and for TWU to assign an ID#
2. Create your Pioneer Portal Account
3. Complete the General Scholarship Application on the Pioneer Scholarship System each year between July 1 and March 1
4. After submitting the general application, click on Other Recommended Opportunities to find scholarships we recommend for you and apply for those
