Campus Police and Parking

TWU Police (TWUPD)

Our TWUPD security officers are a dedicated group of individuals who are vigilant in the watch they keep over our campus. Every officer makes it a point to get to know the faculty, staff, and students by sight, and if possible by their name.

The TWUPD security desk is located in the main entry area of the first floor to the left as you enter the building. On-duty officers may also be reached by dialing the last four digits of their phone number, (214) 689-6666, from any campus phone.

Lost and found

All lost or found articles should be reported or turned in to the TWUPD security desk. You may also contact TWUPD on campus at extension 6666 and an officer will respond.

If you lose an item the TWUPD office encourages you to inquire about it frequently, as it may turn up well after your initial report. If you happen to mislay an important item, please make sure to report it immediately to TWUPD. It is not unusual for “found items” to be turned back in to the officers, regardless of the expense. Please give the TWU community 24 hours to get the items back into the hands of the TWUPD officers to return to you.

For more information regarding TWUPD information and procedures, visit the main TWUPD website.
