The proposed garden will include:
- A smaller Ann Stuart Science Complex location
- A larger showcase garden west of the Texas Pond.
Volunteering will give students opportunities to “learn by doing” and to serve the University by helping to create a beautiful landmark on the campus.
Interested students will assist faculty and staff in planting the gardens and maintaining them after they are established. Accordingly, we are seeking student organization commitments for morning work days of approximately four hours. Your organization does not have to commit to helping with all of the work days, and your pledge is subject to other commitments your group may have. If you complete the pledge form, your leaders will be contacted regarding the specific dates on which work days are scheduled.
If your organization is willing to help make The Dr. Bettye Myers Butterfly Garden Project a reality, please complete the Student Organization Pledge Form
