Beins to participate in Voices in Feminist Art reception

July 17, 2025 – DENTON – Agatha Beins, PhD, TWU professor of Multicultural Women's and Gender Studies, will be among the speakers at the reception for Intersections: Voices in Feminist Art, an exhibit at the Greater Denton Arts Council.

The reception will take place July 17 5-8 p.m., and will feature an artist talk with Aubree Dale, Christine Irving, Suzi Manrique, Karla Ramirez-Santin and Robyn Rozelle discussing their work and the social issues they explore.

The exhibit features art created by TWU students from Beins’ "Art, Activism and Social Justice" course. The exhibit will be on display until Aug. 30.

The reception and exhibit take place at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center, 400 E. Hickory Street in Denton.

The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public.
