TWU’s Transfer Merit Scholarships celebrate your academic excellence, leadership, and service.  These awards are NOT based on financial need and are open to ALL qualified undergraduate transfer students.

We’ve recently tripled these scholarship opportunities, making TWU the ideal university for high-performing students.

Merit Transfer Scholarship

How do you apply? That’s the best part, you don’t have to! All students transferring to TWU are automatically considered for the Transfer Merit Scholarship when applying to TWU. Selected full-time students can receive up to $2,000 per year ($1,000/year for part-time students in select dual programs like Nursing & Dental Hygiene). Note: Transfer Merit Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. The earlier you apply, the more scholarship funds available.

Pioneer Elite Transfer Scholarship

High-performing transfer students can apply for the Pioneer Elite Transfer Scholarship using the link below. This award can be combined with the Transfer Merit Scholarship, significantly increasing your total scholarship opportunities.

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK)

What about the years after you transfer? The scholarship opportunities don’t stop there. Students with a GPA of 3.5 or higher are eligible for Phi Theta Kappa (PTK), and PTK members can earn an additional $2,000/year in the years following their transfer to TWU.

To receive the Phi Theta Kappa award in following years, simply apply through our General Scholarship Application and let your GPA work for you.
