TWU College Nights in Arlington and Houston
Feb. 21, 2023 — DENTON — Play ball with Texas Woman’s University as the Pioneers head to Arlington and Houston for college nights. TWU Night with the Texas Rangers will be on Saturday, Apr. 22 at 6:05 p.m. at Globe Life Field, and with the Houston Astros on Friday, Apr. 28 at 7:10 p.m. at Minute Maid Park.
"Everyone looks forward to our TWU Nights with the Rangers and Astros," said Mara Jackson, associate director of student union programming. "This year our events are on Friday and Saturday evenings rather than mid-week, and we think that's a positive change that everyone will appreciate!"
Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are welcome to purchase tickets for the games and join the fun. Tickets should go on sale starting Mar. 1!
Rangers – Saturday, April 22, 6:05 p.m.
The first 800 fans who purchase tickets using our link will receive limited-edition TWU-themed Rangers hats. Please note, you will not receive a physical voucher. Hats can be picked up as soon as the games open through the second inning at the ball park’s Theme Nights kiosk (exact location will be shared later. Ticket holders will scan their tickets at the kiosk, and when tickets are validated, you will receive your cap. Additionally, TWU will provide limited transportation from Denton to Arlington for current TWU students, faculty and staff who hold a valid TWU ID. Fans interested in riding the buses must preregister. Registration will close on Monday, April 10 at midnight or when the buses reach capacity and all seats are filled. The first bus will depart at 3:30 p.m., and the second one will depart at 4 p.m.

Astros – Friday, April 28, 7:10 p.m.
The first 200 fans who purchase tickets will receive a limited-edition TWU-themed Astros hat. To be eligible for the hat, you must purchase your ticket through the TWU link. Hats can be picked up at the TWU-branded table located on the main concourse.
