Family Weekend Registration Deadline Extended

Sept. 22, 2026 — DENTON — Texas Woman’s is rolling out the maroon carpet for students, families and friends during its annual Family Weekend 2026, October 9–11 on the Denton campus, and the registration deadline has been extended to Oct. 4.

The annual tradition offers loved ones a firsthand look at campus life, connecting families with the vibrant culture, spirit and community that define the Pioneer experience. From interactive open houses and gallery tours to high-energy Pioneer athletic events, the action-packed weekend is designed to create unforgettable memories for visitors of all ages.

Weekend Highlights Include:

Exclusive TWU Swag: Every registered attendee will receive an official Family Weekend t-shirt, a custom tote bag, and exclusive TWU gear.
Texas BBQ Tailgate Party: A staple of Pioneer hospitality featuring rich flavors, live community spirit, and family fun.
Pioneer Athletics & Campus Events: Thrilling athletic matches, interactive exhibition tours, and dedicated open houses across campus.
Family Weekend Reception: An evening celebration honoring the families who support TWU students throughout their academic journeys.
Campus Store Giveaways: Opportunities to visit the official TWU Campus Store and enter exclusive drawings for premium Pioneer merchandise on Oct. 9-10.

Registration & Ticket Information

Participation in Family Weekend is free for current TWU students and children 5 years old and younger.

Adults (Ages 13+): $55 per person
Youth (Ages 6–12): $45 per person
TWU Students & Kids (5 & under): Free (registration required)
No refunds will be issued after Friday, Sept. 25, at 5 p.m.
Online registration and ticket purchase is required for all attendees.
