Family Weekend, Oct. 6-8

Sept. 22, 2023 — DENTON — Texas Woman’s extends a hearty welcome to family and friends as the campus gears up for Family Weekend, scheduled for Oct. 6-8.

Participation in family weekend is completely optional and free for TWU students and guests 5 years old and younger. The fee is $55 for adults and $35 for guests ages 6-17. Registration is required for all attendees.

The fun begins on Friday, Oct. 6 with check-in starting at 4 p.m. and a kickoff dinner at the TWU Gardens. Saturday, Oct. 7 continues with brunch, a TWU soccer game, and more, while Sunday, Oct. 8 allows plenty of time for enjoying local sights and sounds, including a TWU Wind Symphony concert!

Additionally, two hotels are offering discounts if you mention that it is for TWU Family Weekend when you call to make the reservation:

Best Western Premier - Located 4 miles from TWU at 2450 Brinker Road, Denton 940-387-1000, will offer a 10% discount for the weekend.
Hilton Garden Inn - Located 5 miles from TWU at 3110 Colorado Blvd., Denton 940-891-4700, rooms are $107 for the weekend.
