Fall 2022 Deadlines

Aug. 18, 2022 — DENTON — The fall term is fast approaching, and there are important deadlines that you need to know.

Registration Deadlines

Early registration for Fall 2022 will end Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 5 p.m. Regular registration will begin Wednesday, Aug. 24 at 10 a.m.

Regular registration for fall will end Friday, Aug. 26, at 5 p.m. You must enroll by this date to avoid late fees.

Late registration will be open the first week of the term, beginning Monday, Aug. 29, at 10 a.m. Late fees will be assessed for new registrations and changes to existing registrations.

Students must register by Sept. 1 in order to be enrolled for the fall term. There are will be no new registrations after this date.

Registration will close at 5 p.m. on all payment deadlines and will reopen at 10 a.m. the following business day until the end of late registration.

Payment Deadlines

For students who enroll on or before Tuesday, Aug. 23, the payment deadline is Tuesday, Aug. 23 by 6 p.m. Payments not received by the payment deadline will result in the deletion of your class schedule for the term.

For students who enroll Aug. 24-26, the payment deadline is Friday, Aug. 26 by 6 p.m. Payments not received by the payment deadline will result in the deletion of your class schedule for the term.

For students who enroll during Late Registration (Aug. 29-Sept. 1), the payment deadline is Thursday, Sept. 1 by 6 p.m. Payments not received by the payment deadline will result in the deletion of your class schedule for the term.

Census Dates

The census date for the Long Fall 2022 term is Wednesday, Sept. 14. This is the date enrolment becomes official. There can be no course adds or section changes after these dates. This is also the refund deadline for dropping a course for the long fall term. Students must drop by 5 p.m. on this date to get a refund. Term withdrawal refunds are prorated based on the date initiated.

7WK1 Census - Friday, Sept. 2 (Thursday, Sept. 1 is the last day to drop but not withdraw from all courses for the term and receive a refund)
7WK2 Census - Friday, Oct. 28 (Thursday, Oct. 27 is the last day to drop but not withdraw from all courses for the term and receive a refund)
