About

About Student Government

Student government is a group of students who represent their school's student body and help shape the student experience. The Student Government Association is comprised of both elected and appointed positions each working towards creating a better collegiate experience for TWU students.

SGA Structure

At TWU, the SGA is comprised of three branches including the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, and Judicial Branch. Student government functions independently of the college administration, though it often collaborates with the college administration and various departments to enhance the student experience.

During the Summer of 2024, the SGA underwent a complete overhaul and restructured from two branches to its current three-branch system.
