The grant will not only be supporting TWU’s retention but also [aide me] in gathering ideas from different institutions in a collaborative manner.”

Dr. Phillips will be utilizing her grant award to attend the Leadership Academy for Senior International Officers from April 30th - May 4, 2018
“In an effort to expand the breadth and depth of my knowledge in the area of international education, l am applying for acceptance to the Leadership Academy for Senior International Officers through the Association of International Education Administrators. This week-long training is designed to advance participants abilities and knowledge related to international education in the following areas: relations with administration; involving faculty; making alliances; programs and partnerships; making the case for enter-nationalization; assessment; resources; and strategic planning.”

Christina Williams
Manager, Facilities Business & Support Services, Facilities Management
Christina will be utilizing her grant award to purchase the Rosetta Stone Spanish Power Pack (Latin America)
“The Facilities Management industry embraces diversity of all cultures and languages. As Business Manager for the largest department at TWU, it is increasingly difficult to assist my internal clients well lacking the basic skills with which to communicate. Speaking and understanding Spanish enables one to better serve the University.”
