Basket Auction

The annual basket auction is an exciting event where departments from around the institution get to strive to get the highest bid! Baskets of all shapes, sizes, and values are submitted. Be sure to come and put your name down for a silent auction basket or get an auction paddle ready to bid during the live auction!

Auction Categories

Baskets submitted will be divided into two categories: Silent Auction & Live Auction

Silent Auction: Bidding on baskets will be available throughout the event. Continue to monitor your bids to see if someone has outbid you!
Live Auction: Baskets of higher value will be selected for the live auction. The live auction will take place at a specifically announced time during the event. Live auction paddles will be available for check-out so you can bid during the auction.

Payments

If you win a bid in either the Silent Auction or the Live Auction, you will be required to submit payment at the end of the event. We will accept cash, check, and card.

Registration

Please register your basket at the link below. Baskets may be taken to ACT 10th floor conference room, care of Nora Sierra, or you may request an on-campus pickup by contacting Nora at nsierra@twu.edu or 940-898-3352.

Basket Auction Entry Form

Rules

Entries may consist of any socially acceptable theme. Alcohol may not be physically present in the basket.
Entries may not require heating or refrigeration as hot/cold storage will NOT be available.
Home-baked items may be included, but must include an ingredient list to protect against food allergens and dietary needs.
All containers and contents used to submit an entry are considered part of the entry and complete ownership will be transferred to the winning bidder.
The organizers and TWU/SECC representatives are in no way responsible for the loss of any personal items.
All participants agree to the Terms & Conditions.
