Chancellor's Student Research Scholars

A special category of recognition, the Chancellor’s Student Research Scholars, began in 2004 to recognize students who exhibit outstanding achievement in their research or creative art endeavors. The nominees for this scholars program should exhibit outstanding achievement in their research or creative art endeavors. Current students and students who graduated during the 2024-2025 academic year can be nominated for this recognition. 

To nominate a student for consideration as a Chancellor’s Student Research Scholar, please complete the Chancellor's Student Research Scholars Nomination Form and submit with the attachments (student's vita) to tlindsay@twu.edu no later than Thursday, February 27, 2025. Final selection of these scholars will be made by the Research Committee of the Graduate Council. The criteria for the Chancellor’s Student Research Scholar program are included as the second page of the nomination form.

Scholars selected for this award will receive a stipend of $100 and be recognized and individually at the Student Symposium where they will have the opportunity to briefly share their research experiences.
