Career Outlook

If you wish to become a licensed psychologist, a bachelor’s degree will prepare you for entry into the necessary graduate programs. You also may use your bachelor’s degree in psychology as a stepping-off point for another area of graduate study, or to gain immediate entry into a variety of occupational fields.

With courses in abnormal psychology, behavior management, psychological tests and measurements, learning, developmental psychology, and social psychology, our bachelor’s degree will prepare you for a job in the mental health and social services fields. In addition, training in the foundational areas of human behavioral and cognitive processes, scientific methodology, critical thinking, statistics, experimental design and professional writing will provide you with the skills you need to succeed in a number of engaging professional careers.
