Sept. 15, 2020—DENTON—Steve Forbes, chairman and editor-in-chief of Forbes Media, headlines the fall installment of the Paup Lecture Series hosted by the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership at Texas Woman’s University. The free online event, which is open to the public, will be held at 5 p.m., Oct. 1, 2020. Preregistration is required.

Forbes will discuss “The Dollar, the Economy and Stocks – What You Need To Know.” He will share his economic perspectives and address concepts highlighted in his public television documentary “In Money We Trust?”, which answers the question: What is money? Forbes will be joined by Elizabeth Ames, co-author with Forbes of the book “MONEY.” After their discussion, guests will be able to ask questions of them both.

“We are very excited to have someone of Steve Forbes’ caliber involved with our lecture series,” said Mary Anne Alhadeff, executive director and chief officer of the Jane Nelson Institute. “And, Elizabeth Ames is a brilliant woman in her own right. Being fiscally responsible is very important, and we are pleased to host an event where they can share their advice more widely.”
