Deyaun Seale, Health Care Administration student

Deyaun Seale currently pursues a master’s degree in health care administration at the Houston campus of Texas Woman’s University.
She saw no better environment to learn her field than at TWU after she decided she wanted to pursue a career in health care. TWU-Houston is perfectly situated in the midst of the action at Texas Medical Center, a sprawling hub that is home to some of the nation’s most prominent medical centers and research facilities.

One of TWU’s finest takes the field Saturday night for Law Enforcement Appreciation Night at Globe Life Park in Arlington. Denton Campus Department of Public Safety Officer Justin Weathers will sing the national anthem prior to the start of the Rangers game.
TWU student wins top prize in national art contest for people with disabilities

Hannah Werchan, a 22-year-old senior art student at Texas Woman’s University, won first prize and $10,000 in the Kennedy Center’s 2018 VSA Emerging Young Artists Competition, a program that recognizes and showcases the work of artists with disabilities between ages 16-25. Her winning painting, "Growth," is an impressionistic self-portrait that conveys her experience living with Stickler Syndrome, a rare connective tissue disorder.
Serving marginalized people is passion for TWU grad student

Almost as far back as she can remember, Texas Woman’s University graduate student Deyaun Seale has longed for a career in the health care industry. Helping others is important to her, and that’s her passion.
When her mother was diagnosed with cancer three years ago, it hit Seale hard. That her mom is a cancer survivor and is herself pursing a degree in nursing is inspiring. That’s what motivates Seale.
