Music Major for a Day

The Texas Woman’s University Division of Music is excited to welcome local high school juniors and seniors to our campus for the 2023 Music Major for a Day event.

Students will enjoy a full day on the beautiful TWU Denton campus and will experience a day in the life of a TWU Music major. This event is open to all prospective students considering a degree in music education, music therapy, music performance, and liberal arts – music. Parents are encouraged to attend. Registration is free of charge.

• Visit with our world-class faculty
• Learn about our degree programs, admission, and scholarship opportunities
• Sit in on music courses with actual TWU Music students
• Tour TWU Music facilities and the TWU Denton campus
• Experience rehearsals and performances with our large ensembles

Registration will begin on July 26th. The final deadline to register is September 29, 2023.
