Move-in directions and parking

Attention:
Due to increased pedestrian traffic in the area of the TWU Denton campus, we ask that you take particular care to follow move-in signage around campus to reach your residence hall on your move-in day. 

Parking close to the residence halls and apartments on move-in day will be unavailable due to unloading zones.

Directions to:

TWU Housing & Dining recommends that you follow the linked maps below to make your way to the TWU campus once you enter Denton rather than use a map application. We have designated specific approach routes to use during move-in to ease traffic congestion. Click on the building name to be taken to a campus map with directions. 

• Parliament Village
  The move-in check-in tent on August 20 will be at the corner of Grove Street and Frame Street. Please approach the intersection from the south. Do not be early for your move-in time slot.
• Guinn Hall
  420 East University Drive, Denton, Texas 76204
• Stark Hall
  1719 N Bell Avenue, Denton, Texas 76204
• Lowry Woods Apartment
  1600 Oakland Street, Denton, Texas 76204
• The Arch Denton
  701 Fort Worth Drive, Denton, Texas 76204
• Redpoint Denton
  500 Inman Street, Denton, Texas 76204

Parking:

• Parliament Village
  Parking for Parliament Village will be in the Jones Hall parking lot, south of Parliament Village, and in the North Loop Lot accessed via N Ruddell St. Additional parking can be found off Grove St., Pirtle St., and Schmitz Ave.
• Guinn Hall
  Parking for Guinn Hall will be across Bell Avenue at the Dining Hall parking lot. If the Dining Hall parking lot is full, please park in the Lowry Woods parking lot on the south side.
• Stark Hall
  Parking for Stark Hall will be across Bell Avenue at the Dining Hall parking lot. If the Dining Hall parking lot is full, please park in the Lowry Woods parking lot on the south side.
• Lowry Woods Apartments
  Parking for Lowry Woods will be in the Lowry Woods parking lot, south of the Lowry Woods Apartments.
• Additional parking is available at:
  • The North Loop Lot, accessed via N Ruddell Street
  • The parking lot on the north side of the MCL Building, accessed via Grove Street and Vine Street
  • The Pirtle Street parking lot, accessed via Pirtle Street and Frame Street
  • The Schmitz Avenue parking lot, accessed via Schmitz Avenue and N Bell Avenue
  • The ROTC parking lot, accessed via Club House Drive
• The Arch Denton
  • There is ample parking for residents throughout the complex. Be sure to park in legal, non-reserved parking spaces and do not block fire lanes. Visitor parking is located at the front of the complex, and visitor vehicles must be registered by the resident host.
  • As soon as you receive your key and welcome information, it is imperative you register your vehicle and the vehicles of any visitors. Please prioritize this vehicle registration the day of your move-in. 
• Redpoint Denton
  • There is ample parking for residents and visitors throughout the complex. Be sure to park in legal, non-reserved parking spaces and do not block fire lanes.
  • As soon as you receive your key and welcome information, it is imperative you register your vehicle and the vehicles of any visitors. Please prioritize this vehicle registration the day of your move-in.
