TWU team places third in international marketing competition

The Texas Woman’s American Marketing Association student chapter finished in third place in a case competition at the AMA International Collegiate Conference. College of Business students Ciara Easterling, Rebecca Lembrino-Crowe, Judith Vega and Taylor Reid presented their marketing plan to The Sheth Foundation after being named one of 11 finalists in January.

For the second straight year, the Texas Woman’s American Marketing Association student chapter was named a finalist in the organization’s year-long challenge: the AMA Collegiate Case Competition.

Mom of 4 works full time and on cusp of second degree

Patricia Aguirre has put a lot on her plate the last few years to accomplish one of her life goals: to get a college degree. After graduating in May 2023 from TWU’s College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Aguirre decided to continue her education. She will graduate in May of 2024 from TWU with an MBA that has an emphasis in human resource management. 

MBA offers exonerated Death Row inmate fresh start

Ryan Matthews is ready to take a a big step toward charting his own course when he graduates from Texas Woman’s on Dec. 16 with an MBA, which has an emphasis on business analytics. When he was 17 years old, Matthews was convicted of a murder he did not commit. He spent five years on death row in Louisiana before DNA evidence exonerated him in 2004.
