The Project Nexus: Interdisciplinary Preparation of Adapted Physical Educators and Speech-Language Pathologists to Serve Children with Disabilities who have High-Intensity Needs grant is a federally funded grant to train pre-service adapted physical educators and speech-language pathologists to work with children with disabilities who have high intensity needs.

Through Project Nexus, adapted physical education (APE) and speech-language pathology (SLP) scholars engage in interdisciplinary personnel preparation including field/clinical experiences, consultative and mentor experiences, and a Professional Learning Community; and development and delivery of the Project Nexus Summer Workshop for Parents and Caregivers.
