Programs

Texas Woman's is proud to offer two unique honors programs, Honors Scholar Program and Touchstone Honors Program. No matter what your major is or how many college credits you enter with, at TWU there’s an honors experience for you.

Honors Scholar Program

The TWU Honors Scholar Program is designed for students who will typically attend the institution for 3–4 years. Students in this program are expected to successfully complete organized honors courses, service, and social-cultural experiences during their time with Honors. The HSP experience culminates in a final research project called the Capstone with a faculty supervisor to demonstrate their competencies and skills as a researcher.

Touchstone Honors Program

The TWU Touchstone Honors Program is designed for students entering the program with an advanced number of college credit hours. These students will typically attend the institution for 2–3 years. Students in this program are expected to successfully complete organized honors courses, service, and social-cultural experiences during their time with Honors. Students in THP complete research and creative arts projects that are presented or published prior to their graduation.
