Help make TWU courses more accessible as we work toward WCAG 2.1 AA compliance and an Ally accessibility score of 90% or higher.

November 10 is the 24-hour Ally Fix Your Content Day competition, when TWU competes with universities around the world to improve the accessibility of digital course content.

Registration is required to compete for the Top 3 FYCD Remediator prizes.

Faculty, register the Canvas course(s) you want included in the competition.

Fix Your Content Day Prizes

Become a Top FYCD Remediator!

The Top 3 faculty remediators on November 10 will receive special recognition and prize baskets filled with semester-survival essentials. These awards are based on eligible accessibility improvements made during the 24-hour FYCD competition, and faculty must be registered to be eligible.

Everyone who participates can earn certificates, digital badges, and swag.

Weekly Mini-Challenges

The challenges this year are:

These might work well as simple icons rather than a traditional list.

Faculty who complete challenges can earn badges, certificates, and swag, and anyone who completes 3 or more challenges will be entered into the Grand Prize Drawing.

College Competition

This is new this year and something I’d like to highlight:

🏆 Help Your College Win the Oakley Cup!

The college with the highest faculty participation will take home the traveling Oakley Cup for the year.

November 10 Support

We will also provide optional support during Fix Your Content Day, both in person and via Zoom. Faculty can bring their Canvas courses and get help using Ally to identify and fix accessibility issues.

We have not finalized the support times/locations yet, so we can either leave space to add those later or direct faculty to the website for details.
