Brush up your Spanish

The Spanish Club is a welcoming and inclusive community that gathers every week for one hour on TWU campus (Denton). Open to students, faculty, staff and community members, Spanish Club offers a friendly environment for individuals of all Spanish proficiency levels to practice the language, share cultural experiences and build lasting friendships. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned speaker, you can join us at any time throughout the year, and participation is entirely free. Stay connected through our online resources and social events and embark on this delightful journey of language and friendship with our Spanish Club.

"I want to create a space for everyone here to connect and to practice Spanish," said Angela Rodriguez Mooney, PhD, assistant professor of Spanish. "Some of them have studied Spanish in high school or they learned from family, but they don't have the opportunity to take classes just because they're busy. Life happens. And I was thinking that it would be nice to have this free option where we can just get together, and I thought it was very important to be open for everyone and all levels."
