Jewels Uherak

Technical Director

Jewels Uherak is a stage manager, technician and educator. She is from Texas and attended Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where she received her bachelor of arts in theatre with a focus in technology/design, dance minor and content certification in theatre education.

Uherak has dance training in ballet, jazz, modern and musical theatre. She was a founding member of the TAMU-CC Dance Company where she danced for two years before moving to Austin. She worked in Corpus Christi and Austin as a teacher, stage manager, lighting designer and choreographer. She handled production management and working with choreographers through Bailando International Dance Festival as their lighting designer.
