TWU alumna Hamilton named one of "25 to Watch"

Jan. 27, 2025 — DENTON — Kayla Hamilton, a 2006 alumna of the TWU Dance Division, was included in the annual “25 to Watch” by Dance Magazine.

First published in 1927, Dance Magazine is an American trade publication for the dance field.

Hamilton was on the TWU campus last May teaching a two-week summer dance intensive with a focus on disability in the arts.

Hamilton is the founder and artistic director of Circle O, which "reimagines a dance world where Black Disabled and other multiply marginalized creatives are central, and every body is worthy of care."
