TWU chemistry student attends MIT ACCESS

Nov. 6, 2023 - DENTON - Simone Lang, a junior chemistry major at TWU, recently participated in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology ACCESS Program 2023.

MIT ACCESS is a weekend of events to experience and learn the benefits of graduate school, specifically in chemistry, chemical engineering and material science.

“I was able to tour the campus, communicate with graduate students at MIT and experience how it would feel to be a graduate student,” Lang said.

During the program, Lang presented her research about computational chemistry and went to seminars that discussed the research taking place at MIT.
