Biochemistry major accepted by two programs

June 2, 2026 — DENTON — TWU biochemistry major Matthew Stankus has been accepted into a pair of programs.

Stankus will participate in the Warrior-Scholar Project Humanities Academic Boot Camp at Cornell University.

He was also accepted into Google's Career Week 2025. Hosted by Google’s VetNet community, the program includes career development tools, industry panels, executive fireside chats, and one-on-one sessions.

Stankus conducts research under the mentorship of Mary Anderson, PhD.
