The TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs is pleased to announce the opening of applications for CWE Accelerator - Houston.

Founders, are you ready to grow, or expand your business? The TWU Center for Women Entrepreneurs is pleased to announce the CWE Accelerator - Houston application will open on Monday, July 6, 2026.

The CWE Accelerator - Houston is specifically for businesses in the Greater Houston areas and will provide entrepreneurs with resources to accelerate their companies into scalable and successful businesses.

A cohort of Greater Houston area businesses will be selected to participate in this intensive training program. Curriculum and program design are provided by the Center for Women Entrepreneurs, while facilitation and participant engagement are led by the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce.

This program will provide the CWE Accelerator - Houston cohort with the following:

• Direct access to business advisors and mentors from the Greater Houston Women's Chamber of Commerce, during and after the program.
• Intensive entrepreneurial training from industry experts on vital business resources and processes.
• Access to business plan software to complete a comprehensive business plan.
• Access to the CWE Accelerator Houston Resource page during and after the program.
• Introductions to Houston connections to expand their network.
• Resources to complete a 5-minute pitch deck and a 60-second pitch

Important dates:

• Applications open: July 6, 2026
• Applications close: August 6, 2026
• Program starts: September 15, 2026
• Anticipated end date: December 15, 2026
• Plan for carry-over to January 2027 if inclement weather occurs
• In-person cohort meetings: Tuesday evenings, 6–8 p.m.
