TWU to hold SHTEAM Punk-ins Oct. 14

Oct. 13, 2025 — DENTON — TWU will host SHTEAM Punk-ins, a showcase featuring science and art activities for local elementary school children and their families on Oct. 14 at 10 a.m.

This event will take place on the lawn on the east side of the Classroom and Faculty Offices building and will.

SHTEAM Punks is a TWU cross-disciplinary faculty group dedicated to breaking down the silos between the science, humanities, technology, engineering, arts, and math (SHTEAM). Their goal is to create projects connecting the university with the community, from developing K-12 outreach to designing academic minors and certificates.
