Testimonials

Ann M. Davis, Ph.D.

“ I learned so much this year at the Assessment Summit! Program assessment used to intimidate me because I worried that if my students did not ‘do well enough’ it would make my division look bad. Instead, I discovered that just like teaching, program assessment is all about the process. I now see it as a powerful tool that we can use to improve our curricula and better serve our students.”

Ann M. Davis, Ph.D., Division of Biology, School of the Sciences
Jacquelyn Hoermann-Elliott

“As a program coordinator, the assessment summit has become a critical check-in point in my annual planning process. It provides me with time to reflect on existing protocols and a collegial space to brainstorm improvements.”

Jacquelyn Hoermann-Elliott, Assistant Professor English, Rhetoric, & Spanish
