Spring 2026 Advising Availability

Hello Pioneers!

Advising appointments will be available beginning on 2/16/2026 Continue to check your TWU email for an appointment link. 

Location: Old Main Building, Suite 307
Hours: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM (closed 12–1 PM for lunch)

Spring Break 2026: March 9 to March 13.
Take these dates in consideration if you will not be on campus for appointments.

Types of Appointments

We are now offering 3 varieties of advising for our Pre-Nursing students!

Group Advising

For first-year students

Great if you’re on track and want guidance on common topics like registration, degree requirements, or upcoming milestones. Advisors walk through key information and answer questions—quick, clear, and collaborative.

How to schedule:

• Open the OnceHub link in your TWU email
• Choose Pre-Nursing Group Advising
• Select a time
• Enter your name, ID#, TWU email, and major

Can't find your ideal time? No stress — New slots open two weeks ahead of their dates. Keep checking for new availability! 

Group Presentation = 30 minutes

Optional 1-1 Advising = 30 minutes

More than 10 min late? You'll need to reschedule.

1-on-1 Advising Appointments

For first-year students

Ideal if you have a more complex situation or want personalized support—academic challenges, major changes, probation, long-term planning, or anything that needs extra time and attention.

How to schedule:

• Open the OnceHub link in your TWU email
• Choose Virtual or In-Person
• Select a time
• Enter your name, ID#, TWU email, and major

Can't find your ideal time? No stress — New slots open two weeks ahead of their dates. Keep checking for new availability!
Appointments = 30 mins. More than 10 min late? You'll need to reschedule.

Drop-In Advising 

For students who are beyond their first year of college

Perfect for quick questions or follow-ups—like clarifying a requirement, confirming next steps, or checking something off your list. No appointment needed!

How to schedule: 

No scheduling needed! Visit OMB 307 on Wednesdays from 1:30 to 4 pm to briefly meet with an advisor.

Important Dates & Deadlines

Registration dates:

• Priority: March 24th
• Seniors (90+ hrs): March 26th
• Juniors (60-89 hrs): March 31st
• Sophomores (30-59 hrs): April 7th
• Freshman (0-29 hrs): April 14th

College of Nursing Application

• Fall 2026 application deadline has passed.
• Next deadline: August 15th, 2026

Drop Course Deadline:

February 2nd (Monday) 

• Long Spring last day to withdraw from the term and receive 50% of the refundable amount of tuition and fees, 5:00 p.m.

February 9th (Monday)

• Long Spring last day to withdraw from the term and receive 25% of the refundable amount of tuition and fees, 5:00 p.m.

April 3rd (Friday)

• Long Spring last day to drop a class or withdraw from the University, 5:00 p.m. No refund.
