Saturday Denton Campus Tours

Prospective undergraduate students and school groups are invited to explore our beautiful 270-acre campus proudly boasting safety, convenience, and vibrancy located in the heart of energetic Denton, Texas.

Register for a Saturday Tour

Saturday Tours are only offered on select Saturdays each semester (not including summer) and only at the times listed. Space is limited and registration closes if/when the cap is met.

Note: November registration is now open! Check back for Spring 2026 registrations.

What to expect

All tours are walking tours!

  • Please wear comfortable walking shoes
  • Be aware of weather conditions and dress accordingly
    • Tours take place during all kinds of weather including rain
    • Modifications to or cancellations of the tours will be made based on the severity of weather conditions and at the discretion of the University

It is recommended that you check in at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time.

Managing expectations

  • General tour content: All guided tours provide a broad overview of TWU and campus highlights. They are not customized for individual academic programs and may not include specific buildings, classrooms, or specialized facilities.
  • Other departments/services: For meeting with academic departments, campus offices, or student services, please contact those areas directly (Monday through Friday) to arrange your visit.

Accommodations

All guided tours are walking tours and cover various areas of campus. 

  • Mobility assistance: If you or a guest have difficulty walking, our office has access to a golf cart that may be available with prior notice. Availability is not guaranteed and is limited to those with ambulatory issues.
  • Advanced notice required: To help us best prepare, please request through our office at least three (3) business days before your visit.
  • Other accommodation needs: For any accommodations unrelated to walking, please contact us directly.

Paid for parking is not enforced during weekend events. You will not need to pay, nor will you need a code or tag of any kind.*
