New housing option for TWU Houston students

Apr. 5, 2022 — HOUSTON — Texas Woman’s University has teamed up with Texas A&M University to offer Houston students a new housing option at Life Tower, scheduled to be complete this summer, just in time for the fall 2022 semester.

Located just a short distance from TWU Houston, Life Tower at Texas A&M Innovation Plaza is a 19-story, 714-bed student housing building. Rooms in Life Tower are fully furnished and feature kitchens, private restrooms and common areas for multi-room units. Life Tower also includes several luxury amenities, such as the fitness center, rooftop mezzanine and outdoor terrace, clubroom and several public study areas.

According to Jill Eckardt, Executive Director of Housing and Dining at TWU, the partnership will help Houston students who want to live closer to campus.

“Not only will Life Tower provide a new, feasible option for Houston students, but also it provides a greater sense of community and belonging and offers ample residential parking, which is a huge bonus for our students,” said Eckardt.

Floor plans for Life Tower include studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units with washers and dryers, kitchens and common areas. Additionally, on-site building management provides prompt maintenance service and thoughtful community events.
