Fraternity Informational Meeting

Sept. 12, 2023 — DENTON — Joining a fraternal organization can help build ongoing connections and make college experiences more memorable. It can also help members stay focused on school, find leadership and career opportunities, or give back to the campus and community.

With that in mind, Sorority and Fraternity Life (SFL) will host an informational meeting on Monday, Sept. 18 in SUHH 2238 at 6 p.m. for all men interested in learning more about TWU’s two fraternities—Phi Beta Sigma and Phi Iota Alpha.

Attendees will learn about:

  • Time commitments
  • Grade requirements
  • Service opportunities
  • Costs
  • Benefits of joining an established network of other like-minded individuals

Previous members credit their experience with helping them make lifelong friendships that continue beyond college.

“At a university primarily for women, I found that joining a fraternity at TWU helped me find brothers for life, and one of the best parts was the networking opportunities,” said Bryan.
