See our available Virtual Open House sessions below and choose which is the right one for you. We offer a general information open house as well as one on each specialty in the School of Library and Information Studies.

Format: An online webinar via Zoom

Participants:

  • Will attend the Virtual Open House meeting on their own device with a speaker or headphones. A microphone or webcam is not necessary to attend the session.
  • Will learn in an information presentation about the online master’s degree and certificate programs offered by Texas Woman’s University.
  • Will have opportunities for questions following the presentation via the Zoom chat feature.

Prospective Dual Degree (Library Science/Health Studies) and Health Sciences Librarianship | Wednesday, Dec. 3: 7-8 p.m.

Format: An online webinar via Zoom

Participants:

  • Will attend the Virtual Open House meeting on their own device with a speaker or headphones. A microphone or webcam is not necessary to attend the session.
  • Will learn about the health sciences librarianship programs offered by SLIS, including the dual degree program (Library Science and Health Studies) and the health sciences librarianship certificate program. Professionals from the field will share how these programs have helped them advance their careers.

Participants:

  • Will attend the Virtual Open House meeting on their own device with a speaker or headphones. A microphone or webcam is not necessary to attend the session.
  • Will learn in an information presentation about the online master’s degree with school librarian certification program offered by Texas Woman’s University.
  • Will have opportunities for questions following the presentation via the Zoom chat feature.

Format: An online webinar via Zoom

Participants:

  • Will attend the Virtual Open House meeting on their own device with a speaker or headphones. A microphone or webcam is not necessary to attend the session.
  • Will learn about the online master’s degree and certificate programs in Community Information offered by TWU SLIS. Our Community Information programs prepare students for careers as librarians and information specialists focusing on community engagement. Students learn how to leverage partnerships, advocate for library resources, and work with their community to co-create meaningful programs, collections, and services.
