Hoffman presents GLISA scholarships to students

The annual Texas Library Association (TLA) conference is a regular highlight in the calendar for the School of Library and Information Studies at TWU. That was the case again in 2024 as representatives from the school attended the conference in San Antonio on April 16-19.

Faculty and staff enjoyed connecting with students and alumni at the SLIS exhibit booth where daily door prizes were awarded. At the annual SLIS reception held at the conference, the school recognized the Graduate Library and Information Studies Association (GLISA) scholarship winners and presented SLIS alumni awards. SLIS Director Gretchen Hoffman, PhD, also hosted a Meet the Director event for students and alumni.
