The accelerated master's track in mathematics offers two options:

*Comprehensive Exam: Requires 30 hours of coursework. If this option is selected, students must enroll in all three courses during the final fall semester. The Comprehensive exam will test over three courses on or near program completion. Ideal for those pursuing teaching or industry careers.

*Professional Paper: Requires 27 hours of coursework and three hours dedicated to a professional paper (MATH 5973). If this option is selected, students must enroll in two classes and the professional paper during the final semester. Suited for students aiming for further education.

Thesis is not an option.
