Travel Assistance Fund

Applications are currently being accepted to the 2022-2023 Travel Assistance Program using the Travel Assistance Fund Application Materials

The Travel Assistance Fund enables faculty to defray some of the travel costs associated with presenting scholarly outcomes at professional conferences and meetings that have been peer-reviewed, juried, or selected by the major associations or societies in their fields; it also supports travel where they will receive a major award from those organizations.

Applicants must be tenure-track, tenured, or research faculty with a full-time appointment during 2022 – 2023.  There is no deadline for this program; applications are accepted on a rolling deadline. Eligible faculty may receive this award for no more than two consecutive fiscal years; faculty who received a Travel Assistance Award in FY 2021 and FY 2022 will not be eligible for funds from this program in FY 2023. Only one trip per person may be funded in a fiscal year, and a maximum of $800 per award will be funded. Applications must be submitted prior to the start date of the conference.
